As Justice of the Peace, Precinct 2, I would bring unique expertise including 40 years of business and community service both as an elected official and volunteer.
As a State Representative, serving in the Texas House of Representatives during the 82nd Legislative Session, I was charged with making critical decisions about funding for all agencies, including the Department of Criminal Justice. I have had the responsibility of considering the impact on the community when making city and statewide decisions involving substantial budgets. Since I am a Certified Paralegal and have served on the Tarrant County Criminal Grand Jury, I am motivated by and experienced in reading and examining complex cases.
I am confident that I could use my years of community service as a volunteer and elected official to provide a fresh and unique perspective to the role of Justice of the Peace.
